Profile

大阪府で生まれ、3歳から東京で過ごす。

東洋英和女学院高等部卒業後、国立音楽大学音楽学部演奏学科声楽専修を卒業。

同時にオペラ・ソリストコースを修了。

同大学院音楽研究科修士課程声楽専攻オペラコース修了。

学内選抜により、2011年には『Vocal Concert』『ソロ・室内楽定期演奏会～秋～』に出演。その他、2012年『卒業演奏会』『第82回読売新人演奏会』東京新人演奏会』に出演。
大学院修了後すぐに二期会研修所マスタークラス修了(修了時には優秀賞、並びに奨励賞受賞。)新国立劇場オペラ研修所修了。在籍時にANAスカラシップ制度により、ミラノスカラ座、バイエルン州立歌劇場付属研修所で短期研修を受ける。

文化庁新進芸術家海外研修制度によりハンガリーにて研鑽を積む。

リスト音楽院にて、アンドレア・ロスト、ミクロシュ・ハラズィに師事。
第32回ソレイユ音楽コンクールで第3位及び審査員奨励賞受賞。

第28回、第39回霧島国際音楽受賞。

第16回東京音楽コンクール声楽部門入選。
第33回奏楽堂日本歌曲コンクール歌唱部門奨励賞受賞。

第5回浜響ソリスト・オーディションにて第一位入賞。

2018年6月には二期会ニューウェーヴ『アルチーナ』モルガーナ役に抜擢。

2018年11月には『後宮からの逃走』にてブロンデ役で二期会本公演デビュー。

2019年6月には『ヘンゼルとグレーテル』にて露の精、眠りの精で日生オペラデビューを果たす。その後、日生劇場ファミリーフェスティバル『アラジンと魔法のヴァイオリン』『アラジンと魔法の歌』にも主要キャストとして多数出演。
2022年には宮本亞門演出の『フィガロの結婚』でスザンナ役で絶賛を博す。その後、同じく宮本亞門演出『パルジファル』に花の乙女1役で出演する他、コンヴィチュニー演出『影のない女』では鷹の声役、イリーナ・ブルック演出『カルメン』ではミカエラ役など多数の二期会本公演に出演。2026年は同じく二期会本公演『ルル』でタイトルロールデビューを果たし、新境地開拓。

新国立劇場オペラ公演では『ジャンニ・スキッキ』ネッラ役、『魔笛』パミーナ役、『ドン・ジョヴァンニ』ツェルリーナ役など数多くのカヴァーキャストを務める他、高校生のための鑑賞教室『魔笛』には夜の女王役で出演。

新国立劇場研修所公演『カルメル会修道女の対話』マダムリドワーヌ役(賛助出演)、トヨタコミュニティーコンサートでは田尾下哲演出の『ヘンゼルとグレーテル』のグレーテル役で出演する。
2024年には、準・メルクル指揮、台湾フィルハーモニー交響楽団による『薔薇の騎士』のゾフィー役に抜擢され、海外オペラデビューを果たし、翌年は同オーケストラ『マーラー交響曲４番』で再度台湾に招聘されて、東京オペラシティ公演でもソリストも務める。その後も『ワルキューレ』ヘルムヴィーゲ役で再び招聘され、本年は『マーラー交響曲第8番』にも出演予定。さらに台中歌劇場『リゴレット』のジルダ役も務めるなど国内外にも活躍の場を広げている。

オペラでは『コジ・ファン・トゥッテ』のデスピーナ役、フィオルディリージ役、『ジャンニ・スキッキ』ラウレッタ役、『ラ・ボエーム』ムゼッタ役、『こうもり』アデーレ役、『電話』ルーシー役など幅広いレパートリーを持つ。　
東京芸術劇場サラダ音楽祭『アトランティス・コード』にはグラツィエッラ役、井上道義プロデュースオペラ『A Way from Surrender〜降福からの道〜』にはマミ役で出演するなど、新作オペラやミュージカルにも精力的に出演し、オペラ歌手の枠に捉われず活躍の場を広げている。
『ソルヴェイグの歌』、『ベートーヴェン交響曲第九番』、『モーツァルトcmollミサ』、『モーツァルト・レクイエム』、『フォーレ・レクイエム』、『ドイツ・レクイエム』、『カルミナ・ブラーナ』などコンサートソリストも多く務める。

東京都交響楽団、東京フィルハーモニー交響楽団、日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、新日本フィルハーモニー交響楽団、神奈川フィルハーモニー管弦楽団、九州交響楽団、大阪交響楽団、山形交響楽団など様々なオーケストラとオペラやコンサートで共演を重ねる。

文化庁学校巡回公演では仙台フィルハーモニー交響楽団と共演。
2022年、メゾソプラノ歌手の藤井麻美とともに「ARTS MIX」を結成し、旗揚げ公演となる『リゴレット』を上演し、好評を博す。国立音楽大学演奏補助。二期会会員。Eテレ『クラシックTV』に『ソルヴェィグの歌』で出演するなど、メディアの出演も多い。

Ena Miyachi

Ena Miyachi – Biography

Born in Osaka Prefecture, Japan, Ena Miyachi moved to Tokyo at the age of three. She graduated from Toyo Eiwa Jogakuin Senior High School before earning a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from Kunitachi College of Music, where she also completed the Opera Soloist Course. She subsequently received a Master’s degree in Opera from the Graduate School of Music at Kunitachi College of Music.

While at university, she was selected to perform in the Vocal Concert and the Solo & Chamber Music Concert – Autumn in 2011. In 2012, she appeared in the Graduation Concert, the 82nd Yomiuri Newcomer Concert, and the Tokyo Newcomer Concert.

After completing her master’s degree, she graduated from the Nikikai Opera Studio Master Class, receiving both the Excellence Award and the Encouragement Award upon graduation. She also completed the Opera Studio of the New National Theatre, Tokyo. During her studies there, she participated in short-term training programs at La Scala Academy in Milan and the Bavarian State Opera Opera Studio through the ANA Scholarship Program.

Supported by the Agency for Cultural Affairs Overseas Study Program for Emerging Artists, she furthered her studies in Hungary. At the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music, she studied with Andrea Rost and Miklós Harazdy.

Her competition achievements include Third Prize and the Jury Encouragement Prize at the 32nd Soleil Music Competition, awards at both the 28th and 39th Kirishima International Music Festival, a prizewinner in the 16th Tokyo Music Competition (Voice Division), the Encouragement Award at the 33rd Sogakudo Japanese Art Song Competition, and First Prize at the 5th Hamamatsu Symphony Orchestra Soloist Audition.

In June 2018, she was selected to sing Morgana in Nikikai New Wave Opera’s production of Alcina. Later that year, she made her Nikikai main-stage debut as Blonde in Die Entführung aus dem Serail. In 2019, she made her Nissay Opera debut as the Dew Fairy and Sandman in Hansel and Gretel, and has since appeared regularly as a principal artist in the Nissay Theatre Family Festival productions Aladdin and the Magic Violin and Aladdin and the Magic Song.

In 2022, she received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Susanna in Le Nozze di Figaro, directed by Amon Miyamoto. She has since appeared in numerous Nikikai productions, including Flower Maiden I in Parsifal (also directed by Amon Miyamoto), The Falcon’s Voice in Die Frau ohne Schatten (directed by Peter Konwitschny), and Micaëla in Carmen (directed by Irina Brook). In 2026, she made her title-role debut as Lulu in Nikikai’s production of Berg’s Lulu, marking a major new milestone in her artistic career.

At the New National Theatre, Tokyo, she has served as cover for several leading roles, including Nella (Gianni Schicchi), Pamina (Die Zauberflöte), and Zerlina (Don Giovanni). She also appeared as the Queen of the Night in the theatre’s educational production of Die Zauberflöte for high school students. Additional appearances include Madame de Croissy in Dialogues des Carmélites (guest artist) and Gretel in Hansel and Gretel, directed by Tetsu Taoshita, for the Toyota Community Concert series.

In 2024, she made her international operatic debut as Sophie in Der Rosenkavalier with the Taiwan Philharmonic, conducted by Jun Märkl. She returned the following year as the soprano soloist in Mahler’s Symphony No. 4, including performances at Tokyo Opera City, and was subsequently re-invited to perform Helmwige in Die Walküre. She is scheduled to appear in Mahler’s Symphony No. 8 with the orchestra this season and will also sing Gilda in Rigoletto at the National Taichung Theater, continuing to expand her international career.

Her operatic repertoire also includes Despina and Fiordiligi (Così fan tutte), Lauretta (Gianni Schicchi), Musetta (La Bohème), Adele (Die Fledermaus), and Lucy (The Telephone), demonstrating her versatility across a broad range of repertoire.

Beyond the standard repertoire, she has appeared in contemporary works including Graziella in Atlantis Code at the Tokyo Metropolitan Theatre’s Salad Music Festival and Mami in Michiyoshi Inoue’s opera-musical A Way from Surrender, actively expanding her artistic activities beyond traditional opera.

As a concert soloist, her repertoire includes Solveig’s Song, Beethoven’s Symphony No. 9, Mozart’s Mass in C minor, Mozart’s Requiem, Fauré’s Requiem, Brahms’ Ein deutsches Requiem, and Orff’s Carmina Burana.

She has performed with many of Japan’s leading orchestras, including the Tokyo Metropolitan Symphony Orchestra, Tokyo Philharmonic Orchestra, Japan Philharmonic Orchestra, New Japan Philharmonic, Kanagawa Philharmonic Orchestra, Kyushu Symphony Orchestra, Osaka Symphony Orchestra, and Yamagata Symphony Orchestra. She has also appeared with the Sendai Philharmonic Orchestra as part of the Agency for Cultural Affairs’ nationwide school outreach program.

In 2022, together with mezzo-soprano Asami Fujii, she co-founded the vocal ensemble ARTS MIX, whose inaugural production of Rigoletto was met with critical acclaim. She also serves as an accompanist and performance assistant at Kunitachi College of Music.

A member of the Nikikai, Miyachi is also active in television and other media, including an appearance on NHK Educational TV’s Classical TV, where she performed Solveig’s Song.
